High Quality Math Instruction: a. Differentiated teaching instruction-student characteristics are matched with instruction and assessment b. Adapting general math to those with disabilities in math-not all students will understand math as well as others (just like any other subject). c. Calculators-allowing disabled students to use calculators actually helps them understand the concept. d. Using peer tutoring for math allows students to become stronger learners-the students being tutored learn the material, and the students teaching the material learn it even better.
